The Company offered a comprehensive package of kitchen design, installation and associated works including electrical, plumbing, tiled floor replacement, tiling, lighting , decoration and countertop design and installation. This was of great interest to us because all of the other companies that we had contacted were limited to a dry fit of the kitchen itself, without the extra services. We met Gary to discuss our requirements and he generated a design package that included photograph like images of how the kitchen would look. After several adjustments we arrived at the final design with a fully costed installation package that included all of our requirements. Preparation and installation took place over a ten-week period and the members of Gary’s team were exceptional in their skill and attention to detail. They also worked in a way that created minimal disruption and noise. Gary’s team delivered on all aspects of the work and we are delighted with the final product and have a wonderful new kitchen. The kitchen furniture sits between an off the shelf kitchen and a full bespoke in terms of price. The quality of the furniture leans more towards the bespoke end without the bespoke price! I knew the kitchen would be the centrepiece of the house but I completely lacked the vision I needed. They were amazing! We're very happy with our new kitchen overall: beautiful finish, and the units are really well built. We did have some delays in getting it all finished (wrong hinges supplied for one of the units, one shelf missing for a corner cupboard) but the communication was quite good through this. One of the best things about the new kitchen is the way everything fits into the cupboards and we've managed to clean up a lot of storage, giving us more usable worktop space that's free of clutter. Like with any project, my search started around 18 months (March 2023) before we were due to even consider foundation works on what has become a year long house renovation on our Victorian boathouse. As we all do, we trawl in the internet for inspiration and for the kitchen element of our project, one name kept on coming up, Purple Pepper Pot ( a name that you wouldn't forget easily!). Gary called me and I explained the massive project we were undertaking and we arranged to meet the following week in which discussed expectations of what would be our new and wonderful heart of our renovated home. Over the next few months, emails and calls exchanged and a final design was put in place, even though we could not confirm installation at this point. We always stayed in touch after this point as things like appliances needed to be confirmed and quite often it was just to update on how the project was getting on and once we had a firm date, a final survey was carried out and it was all systems go and the process began. The Installers arrived, as planned , two very professional Gentlemen and spent their week, putting together our kitchen, the Stone Mason arrived, as planned to template the stonework ( who also, were very professional ) and, after almost 3 weeks we had our beautiful new kitchen with a very big wow factor! The whole process has been very smooth, all people involved have been patient, kind, understanding of our brief and the requirements of the project as a whole and the quality of the work matches that of the rest of the house. IF we ever undertook another project of this scale, we would not hesitate to speak with Gary at Purple Pepperpot again. We hope that you like the photos !
